ABOUT BUILD STUFF

“BUILD STUFF” is a Software Development Conference for people who actually build stuff. We bring world-class speakers, letting them share about the latest developments, trends and innovations, as well as new directions in software development. From great lectures by world-class speakers to engaging sessions and fun social events and mixers, Build Stuff is set to be one of the hottest happenings of the year for devs and industry peeps alike.

From November 16-20 in Lithuania and November 21-22 in Ukraine, Build Stuff will yet again be bringing all you dev pros the hottest speakers from Europe and abroad, with world-class builders discussing the latest industry trends, innovations and new directions.

This year’s LT and UA conferences are all about “The Old New Things,” with tons of cool talks on old programming languages and technologies, and the ways they have of making unexpected comebacks.

BUILD STUFF is for anyone in software development teams. That

includes devs, team leads, agile/scrum coaches, engineering managers, executives, founders, and more.

The conference has people in from more than 40 different countries, giving BUILD STUFF a really unique vibe and giving attendees the chance to mingle with other industry pros and experts they may not otherwise get to meet.

Since launching in Lithuania four years ago, Build Stuff has quickly become Eastern Europe’s biggest software development conference, bringing more than 200 international guest speakers to Vilnius to share their knowledge and insight.

This covers everything that non-developers might find be hard to understand. The events include practices working with different programming languages and technology in order to find the most valuable solutions for your company’s projects.

This topic covers best practices that help teams and companies to work more successfully. The topics include Agile, Scrum, User Experiences, DevOps, Lean Techniques providing new trends and proven methodologies.

Build Stuff – For Building Better Future

Help. Share. Give. It is said that there is no better exercise for the hearth than giving and helping someone. There are many ways to give. One of them is charity. Build Stuff believes that charity is not an action but it is the way of life, a training of your hearth. Every year Build Stuff donates to non-profit organizations, user groups which are in need of our help and support.

Three years in a row we organize Build Stuff Poker Charity event. The particular sum of money of purchased tickets is donated to the charity. Furthermore, this year we are going to distribute IT books for IT students. We believe that it is a good way to gain knowledge for new software generation! Moreover, Build Stuff is not indifferent to disabled children. Build Stuff has donated the particular sum of money for organization “Algojimas” – to make children’s dreams come true. We made more than 100 children happy on Christmas time, providing them with the needed equipment, clothes, toys and other stuff two years in a row.

Build Stuff cares about children’s health and last year we decided to donate to Humor Foundation – Clown Doctors “Raudonos nosys”. This charity is dedicated to promoting and delivering the health benefits of humor. They make a significant impact on children’s lives by providing them with the huge smile. The Clown Doctors visited our conference and brought so much happiness and joy.

We believe that the software community can stay strong when we support each other. We support user groups to help them grow up and improve.

“Charity is an exercise, a training, a discipline of shaping our character to become less of ‘me’, but more of ‘us’, as the community.” Willy Tan.

Build Stuff believes in better tomorrow, in better future!
